They say that buying a new house is a stressful journey. It is unless you have the right agent by your side. Our experience with Marilyn, from Richesin Homes, was nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL. As a military family, out of state, we coordinated with Marilyn to view properties through the lens of her camera. She’d tirelessly go out to houses and do an in-depth walkthrough that captured all manner of details we never would have thought to ask had we been doing the walkthrough on our own. We often had the feeling we’d been living in the house ourselves; such was the thoroughness of her walkthrough. She also took the time, while on personal holiday overseas, to continue working our homebuying process, even answering emails and phone calls while on vacation!!! She never ran out of patience or good cheer while explaining the steps and timelines expected for a successful outcome. In closing, she was the perfect agent, and now friend, to embark on the homebuying adventure with. I highly recommend her to anyone who, like us, knew nothing of the process and needed patient handholding. Six out of five stars!!!

As a military family, you don’t always enjoy moving but Jason & Marilyn with the help from their team made our home buying experience an amazing success. They worked with us buying from the other side of the country without ever seeing the house in person until closing but since Jason took the time to give us such detailed video tours of the house and even some of the neighborhood, we had no surprises when we saw it for the first time in person! They went above and beyond to do everything in their power for a smooth transition even giving us a ride to the airport. Earlier this year, a friend recommended Marilyn and Jason as realtors, a piece of advice that gave us the best experience ever. Facing the prospect of trying to sell our home and make a military move while also welcoming our first child was daunting, but Marilyn and Jason worked hard to alleviate our stress. They met with us before our son was born to create a plan for listing the house, giving us the space to focus on our new little one without having to worry about the house. I always felt their care and concern for our situation, and after our son arrived, they even sent us a meal!

When it came time to list the house, Marilyn helped condense the showings so that I would not have to frequently leave the house with my newborn. Throughout the whole process, communication was excellent and versatile, using whatever method suited our needs (text, email, phone, Zoom, in-person). We wound up with multiple offers at and above our asking price, and the house sold less than a week after we listed it! I credit Marilyn and Jason fully for this incredible outcome. The time they put into marketing, as well as finding a top-notch stager and photographer, drew a literal crowd of interest. Due to Marilyn’s insistence, all the prospective buyers agreed to allow us to stay in the house until it was time for our move to the next station.
